Anastasia Pavlou
Anastasia Pavlou constructs a visual vocabulary through painting, drawing, and photography, exploring the act of looking and seeing while mapping how these processes take shape in images. Her work originates in collage—first as a method of image-making, then as a framework for thinking about images, their relationships, and how they come together in space. This interaction carries a dramatic, event-like quality, marked by continuous reevaluation as the work evolves into both event and object. In this process, new images emerge—born from the work itself and its encounters. Pavlou is drawn to these images and their formal possibilities.
